Charm the shoes right off your guests with magical decorations. Yellow, gold, white with splashes of blue would make a great color scheme for a Beauty and the Beast inspired party. Gold balloons with blue ribbons make for great decorations. Tie the party theme into the party with table decorations. The foundation for tables should be white table clothes. Yellow tulle or plastic table cloths found at the local party store can be draped around the edges of a table. Mimic Belle’s fancy ballgown with this look. White Christmas lights underneath tulle table cloths create a magical and playful look. Candles or tea lights add a dramatic flair and a magical light all around a party. Red Rose Decorations

Red roses have to be used at a Beauty and the Beast inspired party. It is up to you if you want to use silk or fresh flowers. Fresh flowers smell wonderful but can be very expensive and will only last a day or so. Silk flowers are not as realistic but will last all day and will still look great if little hands try to grab them. Red roses as centerpieces would be beautiful. Bonus points if you can find a glass topper to set on top of them to create an enchanted rose.

Scatter rose petals on tables and on the floor to add to the look. A clever DIY topper, takes a clear soda bottle with the top cut off and glued to a plate with a red rose in the middle. A clear plastic cup with a rose in the middle is another smaller way to display a red rose at this party. This craft could be used as decorations, a place setting or as a party favor. Find directions here.

A styrofoam ball covered in silk flowers topped with a crown is another easy DIY decoration for a Beauty and the Beast inspired party. Roses hung from ribbon and then attached to the ceiling is another way to incorporate roses in the decoration at this party.Beauty and the Beast Inspired Party Decor

Book Decor

Belle loves to read and is absolutely thrilled when the Beast shows her his enormous library in the castle. Decorate your Beauty and the Beast inspired party with books! Buy old books from a thrift store or with books your already own. There are many uses for books at this party, they can be stacked, or standing. Books create height and add dimension to any table. Candelabras like Lumière, standing clocks like Cogsworth would be characters that could be added as decorations too. Tea pots, tea cups and feather dusters would be fun to use as well. Any character or symbol from the movie would be something that your guests could easily recognize.

Another decoration idea would be to have large mirrors and handheld mirrors placed or hung around the party. The enchanted mirror plays a big role in the Beast’s life, it would only be natural to have mirrors at a Beauty and the Beast inspired party.
