We would like to share our ideas for a Minions inspired party that surely of all ages will going to love. This will help you make your party memorable, and filled with happiness.

Fun Minions Inspired Party Invitations

Starting with one of the most important things you can never forget in a birthday party. Invitations for this party must click on the theme itself. Since Minions are known for being adorable and cute, we want our invitations to be something like that.

You can start with a DIY Minion invitation with their faces curved in circle, using a yellow construction paper that matches the skin tone of the Minion. Pasting a googly eye(s) on the center of the black strips that serves as the strap of their goggles. Or you can also cut different sizes of circle — using dark gray paper to imitate the side of the goggles, white paper for their eyeball, and black paper for the pupil curving into moon like shape — placing each pieces in descending order. It is an optional but you can also add some strands of hair on the top of their head with the excess black papers.

You can also make your invitation in a shape of rectangle with the same features as the round ones. All the materials for this invitations are available on your nearest craft stores.

Minions Inspired Party Decorations

Decorations always gives the party vibe. It makes the place or the venue livelier.

Since we’re focus on the Minions for the party’s theme, we also want to carry out the Minion aura in the event. This decorations are good may it be for indoor or outdoor parties.

Yellow and blue balloons is one of the decors that can totally fit for the themed of the party. Adopting from the Minions skin color and their cutesy blue jumpers. Adding up a DIY of those fluffy paper puff decorations with a curly crepe paper falling lazily on the sides, and Minion balloons. Feel free to scatter this decor all over the venue to give the place the Minion feels.

Just remember, with blue and yellow, it will always give the Minion vibe. These colors can do the trick.

For centerpieces, try having a minion bucket filled with goodies. Placed a yellow bucket on top of the table with paper goggles wrapped around it. You can also paint the half of the bucket with blue as a substitute with the goggles. You can also fill the buckets with cottons colored in blue or candies wrapped in a yellow/blue/silver foil, to make the lollipops visible when you placed them in it. Also you may replace the lollipops with anything for example fruits that are in different shapes or biscuits.

Minions Inspired Party Entertainment

Games are given to be part of the party. Now, you wanted to have a game that can really give satisfaction to your guests. Simple yet enjoyable games are good. Like for example, the classic paper dance. We all know that Minions loves to sing and dance every time. We can diverse that fun into this party! A pair of Minion are needed for this game. The more pairs there are, the more exciting this game will be. Old newspaper is placed on the ground, the Minions will dance around the newspaper as the music plays. The fun fact about this game is you can use some songs that were used in the movie.

Another game is make an Annoying Sound. In the movie Gru tells the girls to not make any annoying sounds. It’s the opposite for this party. Minion guests will be competing for the best annoying sounds. This will give all the laughs for all of your visitors.
