Sweet Treats for a Rapunzel Themed Birthday Party
Dip rice crispy treats in bright colored chocolate to mimic Rapunzel’s paint brushes for a fun sweet treat. Scale down the sunburst template and stick to the top of toothpicks to add a fun embellishment on snacks. A must at birthday parties are cupcakes and cakes! Cupcakes double as a sweet treat and a fun activity when you let your guests decorate their little cakes. Provide sprinkles and other different colored candy to decorate their own cupcakes.
But are you over cupcakes and cakes? Try making a donut tower! Stack donuts on top of each other and add a tower on top. So cute! The donuts may be a little hard to have stay balanced so it might be better to stick a wooden skewer down the middle. Decorate with buttercream frosting to make vines and flowers all the way up the donut tower. Depending on the number of party guests, it may be necessary to have more than one donut tower.
Golden Flower Punch is easily made with your favorite lemonade recipe and “apple” cake pops are great to serve at a Rapunzel themed birthday party. Be sure to include apple for Rapunzel’s friend horse, Maximus. Label twisted pretzel as Rapunzel’s long braided hair and small oranges are perfect balls of sunshine for this party.
Games and Activities
There are so many fun games and activities that guests can play at a Rapunzel themed birthday party. Piñata’s are always a hit. Fill your favorite shaped piñata with fun toys and candy and let your guests go wild. To have this activity fit into the Rapunzel theme, instead of using a baseball bat or stick, use a frying pan.
Get Tangled! Use yellow streamer paper and have your guests wrap their partner up in it in a set amount of time. The girl tangled up the most wins. Continue until each person has a chance to be wrapped up. 
Decorate Rapunzel braids for another fun activity. Before the party, braid yellow yard together and secure at the bottom. Have little flowers, sparkles and other little craft items to let your guests decorate with. Secure the braids into guest hair by using hair pins and hair ties.
Another activity would be to decorate crowns! Find foam crowns at your local craft store. Attach yellow curling ribbon to the back of the crowns to look like Rapunzel’s long golden locks. Decorate with foam stickers, rhinestones, sequins and anything else that you can find!
Painting Crafts
Rapunzel loves to paint! In fact, most of Rapunzel’s walls are covered in her artwork. Stretch out paper across a fence or a wall and let your guests go wild!
